Not only should you be cautious of what you’re eating because of calorie intake, but also because of your teeth! The more sugar in what you are consuming, the worse it is for your teeth. Still enjoy yourself, but try to especially avoid these following foods and drinks.

  • Potato Chips. They are delicious no doubt, but they tend to get trapped in your teeth due to the starch. If you can’t help yourself, just be sure to not skip flossing that day.
  • Candy. More specifically, gummy and hard candies. The sugar tends to stick to your teeth, causing cavities.
  • Soda. Most drinks have some sugar in them. It’s almost impossible to avoid them these days. However, Soda typically has far more sugar in it than you should have in an entire day. It is also high in acid which will break down your enamel.
